is this normal...
Hey ppl... last nite i started noticing this... a orb around the sun...
im attaching a picture... should i do a hard reset? or is it just temporary?

I think your talking about the weather animation.Yea thats a feature of Sense. If you want to turn it of just hit Menu and select Animated wallpaper

no i want the animated wallpaper... but in the previous rom i didnt see the orb it was not discolored... its discolored in this image...

Oh so the gradient? I'm pretty sure thats just the standard sun animation. Mine looked like that too

i just looked at your pic. sorry, im feel like a noob. deffinitly not stock. i see 6.5.3start menu at the bottom. i still dont see anyting in your screenshot that looks off.(no "orb" as you say.) and yes. those are the symptoms of a 6.5.3 rom. a lot of the good options are not there. they're still there, just edited out of the registry files.( some times graying them out on the options, but still visible.) id try a different rom, or finding a registry change that brings that option back. if my choices were "portrait wallpaper" "landscape wallpaper" "animated wallpaper". id pick portrait wallpaper. when you select it does it take you str8 to a background chooser?

animated wall paper and weather wall paper are different. weather wallpaper shows the weather animatiions. animated wallpaper shows things like a painting coming to life, or gears working.

it will ten take you to a background selector. just pick the black one.

home tab > menu > home wallpaper > weather wallpaper
