HELP! my shits all jacked up!

I didnt realize but i did the tp2 tweaks cab from my memory card and now my phone is jacked. is there a way i can get in and remove it? it wont let me utilize any program.

how can i fix this WITHOUT a hard reset??

if its not letting you use any programs then hard reset is your only answer looks like. sorry for the bad news...

go to settings -applications-remove applications. simple as that

whoops read it wrong. are you saying that you cant remove it? because if thats the case then you will have to do a hard reset. hard reset is not that bad just back up your contacts and messages

haha. yeah. i am trying to do a hard reset, pushing red button by battery is not doing hard reset.

i wish i knew more about the ROMS, unlocking, and such to make it better. i am ready to toss this phone.

any recommendations with links?

hard reset is probably the best thing thats happened to my TP2. I wrote down what tweaks I wanted to install, installed them after the reset, and my phone hasnt ran better. It has a ton of memory available, no SOD's EVER, and just runs great all together. I was like you, and wanted to prevent a hard reset no matter what. Now, I'm a fan of it. Once you figure out what you want your tp2 to look like, I think the best way to keep it running great is just installing the cabs that make it the way you want it. I think installing and removing cabs is what causes problems.

i cant even get a hard reset. isnt there a way to do it with holding certain buttons and turning it on?

to hard reset pull out the battery then put it back in. Then hold down the call and end call at the same time. While holding those two down press and hold power button for a short time and you will see a gray screen with blue letters. Press volume up to restore and its hard reset!

YES! i thought volume button was in the mix i was wrong. Much appreciated.

I must nominate this thread for the funniest thread title on this forum! :P

I'm using Blackout's 6.1 ROM, because I prefer my phone to be fast, responsive, and have a lot of RAM available as opposed to Pretty and Slow 6.5

P.S. If you do choose Blackout, turn off Touchback (run Touchback Config) to get a more responsive onscreen keyboard.
