I'm with you on that one... They need to make a Touch Pro 2 type of Android phone for Sprint. Slap on the Touch Pro 2 keyboard to the EVO...and now you've got a nice phone!

yeah and that'll be one heck of a brick, at twice the size... the screen is big enough on the Evo that you don't need a keyboard..

1ghz processor. A 4.3" screen. Android OS.

Now, all the people that actually WORK with their phones needs is a QWERTY keyboard.](*,)

Have you actually typed on it yet?

I've demo'd the HD2, and I can tell you that the capacitive screen is a PAIN IN THE ASS to type on. ](*,)

The keyboard is horrible and the "Touch Wiz" user interface sucks too.

first off i think this tt_c dude needs to post in the right section..
he has his phone down as a Htc touch pro and not the pro2.

would that make a difference in editing registrys and such?

are you serious? Have some courtesy and just let it go. If nobody posted a solution then there isnt one. Even a guy said that 2.5.2012 is the latest stable 2.5 manila but these tweaks do not work

edit: just so ya know if you get a htc android phone...you will still have to use the htc messaging applications.

I motion to close this thread, as there does not seem to be a solution to the OPs problem.

If and when a solution is procured then it is the will of the Forum to come forth with a thread enshowering us with that great knowledge that is to come
