Using a hero to type this cause i am having nothing but
Problems with the 6.5 flash today on many levels. My question is, how can i
Go back to the sprint stock 6.1 for now since it was solid along with mobile shell.
What are the steps to do this?

do a hard reset, then flash back to sprint 6.1

first post has a mirror for sprint 6.1 stock ROM. download it to your computer, then run the program with your phone attached to your computer through active sync and it should flash back.

why are u wanting to go back?
what problems are u having?

i am currently on stock 6.1 rom with mobile shell 3.5.3 and was considering updating to 6.5....but ur post has me worried..

any info will be great

dont sweat it. nothing wrong with trying it, just the usual comfort factor thing for me.

Be forewarned on your downward flash...

I don't work for HTC so I don't know why they said not to do it, but they said not to flash back to 6.1... Maybe the new Radio isn't compatible or something, but you might have issues.
