I have done a little testing and this worked for me. This is a registry edit so please remember that this type of adjustment is an at your own risk, and if done wrong may mess something up.

That being said go to

HKLM\Software\HTC\Phone\PhoneExtendSettings

and change the DWORD value name "KeyPadVibration" from one to zero.

If this works for you as well let us know and please hit the thanks button at the bottom of my post.

Updated my taskbar and corrected the HTCVolumecontrol.dll, I am running it on the Sprint Stock 6.5 ROM and no issues as of yes. http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showpost.p...&postcount=773

Is there a way to increase the number of icons shown in the Programs (tapping Start) from the home page?

Showing only 1 on top and two beneath is pretty silly.

Sounds good but move htcsettings.lnk to where? And search which registry for hidesettings?

Nevermind...got it. Here is more detailed info for anyone who wants to do this:

1. With Total Commander remove settings.lnk from Windows\Start Menu\Programs\

2. Go to HKLM\Security\Shell\StartInfo\HideSettings and change the default value from 1 to 0 then soft reset.

thxx Tso, this always makes a huge difference in our devices, yeserday both my bt and wifi broke while fussing with 12eon and one of u r taks, it could have been a coincidence. I am unnstalling 12, re runing sdk and givinf this a go in a few...thxx again

In 6.5 you can only select one form of communication for a person but in 6.1 you had all the options. For instance when you choose a person from the 'contacts' button from programs.

If you click on the picture it will do the option you selected when you set it up if you click on the grey part of the name and it will bring up the list of ways of communicating... it took me a while to figure that out lol.
