Wirelessly posted (HTC Touch Pro 2: Opera/9.80 (Windows Mobile; WCE; Opera Mobi/WMD-50430; U; en) Presto/2.4.13 Version/10.00)
I have a PC that I want to use to browse the internet, but it doesn't have a wifi adapter, and my internet is much faster than tethering. Is there any way to use my phone as a wifi adapter so myPc can connect to my wifi network? |

Re: TP2 as Wifi adapter? (But not tethering)
I'm pretty sure WMWifiRouter has that function built in... but I agree, USB wireless adapters are pretty much free...

Re: TP2 as Wifi adapter? (But not tethering)
Seems to me like OP is asking if he can use his TP2 to behave as if it were a USB wifi adapter, since he doesn't have one. Unfortunately, I don't know the answer to that question, though I do know that 3rd party products (e.g., PDANet) will allow you to get internet on your PC through your phone's native 3G connection.

Instead of the 3G > USB (Tether) or 3G > Wifi (WiFi Sharing) |
Re: TP2 as Wifi adapter? (But not tethering)
WMWifiRouter uses your data connection on your phone and turns it into a router..
