Odd Verizion Issue.

I recently flashed my TP2 with the Verizon stock 6.5 rom. Everything worked fine for about a day then the phone started randomly locking up, so I reset it to factory. After set up was done everything worked fine again until the next morning when the phone would not verify on Verizon's network. After a call to them to get the it reprogrammed it now is identifying as a T-mobile Leo. And it seems the Rhodium Keyboard driver doesn't see it as a TP2 either as that will install, but fail to run. Any one having anything similar happen and if so how did you get it corrected or am I on a trip to a Verizon tech?

are you installing the cdma rhodium keyboard driver? If you are using the stock rom then it has to be something you are installing.

Yes it's the cdma driver. The only things out side of programs i have installed are: swype, sipchange to set swype as default on screen input, batti, the no push internet cab, and the dynamic resource proxy. Everything I had installed when it was at 6.1. But it identified as a generic Rhodium forget which model number under 6.1.

settings/system/device info/identity. And as an update I just reinstalled the driver and it's now working. I'm not sure what was going wrong there. Before it would install, say device not found, and lock out all keys.

Just out of curiosity, where did you get the VZW 6.5 rom, and what was the file name? Also, what is the cdma keyboard driver you installed, and why did you need to install it?

RUU_Rhodium_W_VERIZON_WWE_1.18.605.6_RS_1.87WV_NV_ VZW_1.50_0529_PRL58002_Ship.exe. Got it from their site. I install the driver to remap the mail key to tab as I use the phone for writing.

EDIT: Got it, regarding the keyboard driver, I never used it and was just curious

Yeah I see I pasted the wrong file name. But that's where I got the 6.5 update. The only thing I've found I don't like about the TP2 is there is no tab key, but there is a cab for that eh?

Ah, okay. If you called VZW support to get the phone reprogrammed (did they have to reauthinticate also?), perhaps it was something on their end. Don't know why else you would have random lock-ups, and even be identified incorrectly!

I've never remapped the keyboard......so, no advice there.

If you're still having lock-up issues, the only suggestion I have is to clear storage/hard reset, and reflash the stock rom.
