Program to fix unread message count in MAIL
Ok, so I know there is a program to fix unread message count for SMS, but is there one for email? I read all messages, made sure they were all read by clicking "Mark all messages as read", then deleted my email account on my phone. So there is now no email account on the phone at all, yet my phone insists I have one 'unread' email message. Is there a fix for this? I don't want to hard reset unless I have to.

Re: Program to fix unread message count in MAIL
I don't know of a program, but you can fix it in the registry. Make sure the following keys are set to 0, wait a couple of minutes and then soft reset your phone.
HKCU/System/State/Messages/OtherEmail/Unread HKCU/System/State/Messages/totalemail/Unread HKCU/System/State/Messages/TotalMsg/Unread All the other notification counts are also under HKCU/System/State/Messages, so you can fix the rest of your counters there too if any of those get stuck. |

I use PHM RegEdit. Their site seems to have vanished, but you can still get the cab on one of the freeware PPC sites.
