Re: Can the TP2 be handsfree on it's own?
Use it as a speaker phone. I have a glovebox between the front seats of my truck. When a call comes in I hit answer and lay the phone face down. Then I can talk all I want hands free.

I've used it this way, but it needs to be pretty quiet inside: windows up & stereo down.. Bluetooth is still a better bet.

Exactly my opinion... I have tried this numerous times in my SUV and it never really works.. I am so used to how quiet the bluetooth connection is in my car that I gave up and went and bought a headset just for when i am in my SUV...

Re: Can the TP2 be handsfree on it's own?
when i try the facedown approach in my truck, every dip bounce and rumble make my phone think i picked it up so im forced to actually use the speakerphone button.. oh well...
but i gotta question.. i know theres noise reduction when not in spkrphn but does it still work when its on? |
