I'm hoping this problem will sort itself out when I upgrade to 6.5 which is supposedly releasing in a few days (19th March) according to one thread here...

It will resolve itself if you're hard-resetting. The issue is solved if your calendar on your phone is cleared, basically. (DO NOT MANUALLY CLEAR IT IF YOU SYNC WITH OUTLOOK - That will cause the appointments on your computer to be deleted as well!) You can delete the partnership and resync, and that will do the trick (as mentioned by other users)

So...is there a fix for this other than editing each and every recurring appt?

Your options:
1. read this thread...
...follow link to another thread: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread...=110285&page=5
...read that thread.
...follow link to an article from MS: http://www.microsoft.com/windowsmobi...gs-update.mspx
...read that article.
...download a CAB from that article: http://download.microsoft.com/downlo...e-kb975353.cab
...then install that cab to fix the problem.

OR

2. Install this CAB to fix the problem.

:p

So just to be clear - this CAB *will* fix my appointments, birthdays, anniversaries, holidays, etc being an hour early (which is forcing all-day events to TWO days - having Tax Day over two days was pretty stressful!)?
