can't get remote desktop to connect to my PC.

Well right now im running windows 7 and I have a netgear router, when I go into Remote Desktop Mobile and enter my IP in and hit connect it doesnt connect, idk what would be my username/password/domain either :/

you made a new thread instead of replying to that one.

1) do you have remote desktop enabled?

2) is there a firewall running on the pc or router blocking port 3389

3) Do you have another pc to test remote desktop from?

4) If using Windows Mobile make sure you are using latest WM RDP client (some old pre-vista update ones don't work)

FYI Remote desktop is only supported on pro and ultimate edition of windows.
Username is your login name and password is your computer password, Leave domain blank.

Try connecting the Comp and Phone to the same Netgear router and use your local ip address that should connect them easier.

Local ip can be found by Run:cmd/ipconfig It should look like 192.168.1.ect.....
