For those of you who haven't read the front page news, check out this post (& thread) by 99accordv6 with a date. Here's hoping it's true!

Sorry to see that 99accordv6's thread got closed, but just for fun I decided I would call Sprint to see if they were willing to give any info regarding the update to WinMo 6.5 for the TP2. I spoke to "Kathy" in Tech Support who was reading verbatim off a document in front of her stating that the update WILL be out on 3/19/10 (Most likely the document from 99accordv6) Again this comfirms the date mentioned, however let's not forget this is Sprint we are dealing with so we should reserve the jumping up and down until we see it posted on their site.

Yes, until Sprint puts it out, jumping up and down is not allowed. I've been excited about something from Sprint in years past, only to be shot down.....!

hopefully it comes out then sooner or leaked earlier. SO much sprint news this week... HTC super sonic and the nexus one and now our upgrade now come on annouce the lg winmo 7 phone lol

Anyone concerned with the upgrade messing up the hspl that we have for flashing custom roms? Or is Sprint not that smart?

I bet a box of donuts that if it is released Friday, it will be leaked by ...hmmm lunch time tomorrow? Possibly around dinner?

Concerned? - sure.

Sprint that smart? - no.

HTC - yes.

But this is last year's phone, so I don't expect Sprint or HTC to expend energy on it.

why not post them in here, that way another fight won't break out about who posted pics 1st...that's what got it shut down the 2nd time.
