Now that Verizon has the NFL deal, Sprint is going to need to remove the NFL app from the new ROM, and retest it. New ETA Q2

I read that Sprint had decided not to renew the deal so it may already be removed and that could be why they waited until now to release the upgrade, hmm.

Well after calling 2 full service locations in my area and talking to tech support at each of these stores, they both told me that they have no idea when it is being released they have not been notified at all.

on a serious note though when i got my touch pro 2 for free.. i ask the representative when was the update for windows 6.5 was going to be available.. she said o you dont have to worry about that its allready been released lol.....

The fabled Sprint 6.5 ROM? I'll believe it when I see it. Sprint does this all the time....botch release dates.

Honestly, I could give two s4!ts. The talent put into cooked ROMs is vastly superior to Sprint devs. The only reason I would flash the new Sprint 6.5 ROM is to pick it apart and then post about how much it sucks and how it WASN'T worth the wait...

lol I wish sprint would hire knowledgeable people I am noticing in Oklahoma the average sprint rep is a moron.

well we all know that everything has compromises, same thing with a stock rom and a custom rom you just have to decide for yourself if the trade off's are worth it for you or not, are the custom roms perfect, no but they definitely try to get them that way. the Chefs put a lot of time and work into these custom roms they make and share with us and really all they ask for is for people to hit the thanks button and the ocassional donation, doesn't seem like much in return for what we get in return.

well we all know that sprint doesn't really care about what we want or when we want it they'll continue to do what they want and give us the update whenever they get around to it, sad but true. and it's sad how the employee's working at the sprint stores can be uninformed like they are, and it's sad when customers know more about the phones and the software than they do, that's my two cents lol.
