Re: Battery Issues - Energy ROM - THREADED

Well, I waited until my phone went to sleep, several times, never got the menu. Weird. Oh well, the other fixes really helped my battery life, so I can live with the prl I have.

Hey if you installed a custom rom what you need to do is go to programs and run the sprint carrier provisioning cab before the ##775# key will register... if you don't provision your phone it won't work

I've installed the Sprint Provisioning and can't seem to get any of the ## codes to work. Thoughts?

Here is a nice app I found that show exactly what the battery is powering and lets you turn stuff off. Sitting indoors not using BT or GPS it was interesting to see that my phone was powering those anyway and I was able to turn them off. I will do some testing to see if it makes any differences.

Re: Battery Issues - Energy ROM - THREADED

Thank you all! I did steps/cabs 2-7 and now my battery life is golden! Idle: under 100mA. Normal use: ~100mA to 400mA. Heavy use: ~400mA to 600mA

What exactly does your cab do? So i know, technically.

I would really appreciate knowing. I searched google and here and couldn't find the exact details.

Thanks!

FYI - If you DL a cab... You can just extract it like a zip or rar file (I use winrar) Then you will see an xml file, just open it with IE or notepad or whatever and you can see the reg settings it is changing.

Here is what was in that cab

Changing the polling times on a bunch of items, disabling face down mute ring, etc (I use most of these with every rom flash and it makes a big difference)

Re: Battery Issues - Energy ROM - THREADED

I am not able to get quick charging working. I am using a charger with 800ma output and I am only getting 400ish. I have nuebattery installed and quick charge enabled. Any ideas?

Re: Battery Issues - Energy ROM - THREADED

Installed Cabs 3-7 on the 5-16 energy rom Win 6.5 with cookie and lost the ability to turn my bluetooth on/off.
Uninstalled Install Shaolin BatterySaver and bluetooth works again
