LOL...LOL...LOL. you got a time out man!!

but on to the topic at hand. gmaine's suggestion works regarding creating a playlist and deleting the ringtones out of the list. i used to get pissed off when im getting into playing the music and then i hear "DING" and would wonder if it was part of the song....LOL. until finally, i played around with WMP and experimented with the playlist. and the rest is history.

I moved the ringtones off my storage card to the phone. TouchFlo didn't pick them up after that.

dood, calm down. make ur ringtones folder "hidden" using TC or resco. by default HTC Music player dopesnt pull data from hidden folders.

then reset ur music directory

disable manilla
go here: ROOT/application data//HTC/audiomanager_eng/ and delete audiomanger_eng.vol

enable manilla
let it seach for songs and ur hidden folders contents should not appear.

Yeah this one worked pretty well, it was my fault. I had a back up audio folder that I overlooked and so I was like wtf?? Why are they still there. This did the trick. After I found out what I did. I just went back and undid the hide and just zipped them up. I guess I can just unzip what I want out of it when I need them. Thanks a lot man.

Haha yeah that time out thing was too funny. I was the same way with that Ding crap. I was all into the groove at the gym last night and the music was keeping me going then all of a suddent I get beep, ding, and some sparkles. I was like damn! That just killed my working out mood. Then I sat in the gym for about 10 minutes trying to fix it before I finally gave up.

Now I ran into another issue....:evil4: Okay so now that I got only the music in my TF3D music tabs. How do I get the tab to display ALL OF MY SONGS?? Right now I have only music in my library but on the play now it only shows one song. How do I get it back to where it showed all the songs again? I tried hitting menu and scrolling to all songs and then pressing back but that did not work. It still just shows one song. Any suggestion? And thanks again to all of you who gave suggestion. Thanks has been given.

Edit:NEVERMIND I FIGURED IT OUT!! THANKS AGAIN TO ALL OF YOU FOR YOUR PATIENCE AND HELP! As for you OR78 ur @$$ is grass Mr. Smart@$$ lmao!!! Too funny bro. Im still laughin at that comment.

I'm not sure if you solved your problem of getting only music in your TF3D player but follow the instructions in this post to get that done.

i use s2p, allows you to set the library for music, therefore no ringtones or app sounds in my music player

Yeah this thread is pretty old. I ended up putting all of my ringtones in a folder and using Total Commander to make them hidden. No more ringtones in the music playlist.
