So, I flashed the EnergyROM Mar 17, and configure the mms (as shown in my sig), didn't use any cans or fixes, and it's now working.

When did you do this? and what did you do to get HTC messaging client. as Mar 17 is WM messaging with arcsoft...?

gotcha. Well I am not sure the reason and don't have the time to check now but the newest nrg rom works. So I am not sure what setting is different but out of 10 rom flashes yesterday its the only one that worked :-/

ill try to look over the settings when I have time later see if anything sticks out.

I think it's HTC Messaging, although it may be WM messaging w/arcsoft. I can still run through the 5 contact tabs as before, but there is now 1 big send button to the right. No more send & mms button (mms is done via Menu > Insert). But it now works, and the messaging client isn't super slow and laggy like before, and the skin looks similar.

I had the same problem, all with any sense 6.5 roms. Tryed 3 or 4 diferent sense 6.5 roms and all had same issue. I wen't back to Silence ROM with sense 2.1 and also tryed Cfay's 2.1 rom and MMS works perfectly without any tweaks or extra cabs.

It could be the provisioning files with the custom roms. I noticed that there was a new provisioning system in the new nrgroms and so far the 2 times I have used it after a flash MMS is working.

After a sunday of a million flashes I don't have the ambition to flash an old rom to see if mms works with the new provisioning files

... but if anyone is still having problems I would suggest at least trying the energy verizon provisioning file

I pulled it from the latest rom and attached it here ... (I hope thats ok?)

I have used the file on multiple ROM's that we made by other chefs so I don't -think- there is anthing specific to nrg roms but .. use at your own risk :P

Anyone tried this yet? I'm going to re-flash and see what happens. I tried to make an EXT out if it, but it didnt want to take.

You should prolly check with nrg. i pissed a chef off by doing this one time.

I tried adding this to a Calk ROM and it didnt fix it.
