I don't have anything left the ship has sailed. You obviously don't have anything left as you can tell by your last response. Are you saying we should keep posting the samehings? Hence the reason I said it should he closed. Or you could keep posting and see that only one person on this forum agrees with you while many in here agree with me.

For me it's not that I don't have anything left to say its just that first I'm just replying to your chosen path of funk, and as well for what ever else, its all be refuted before so as I've been saying, for what ever you got to say, go back and its all there.

I don't know if this has been said for I have only read a few pages, but you could clone the ESN of a non-smartphone device into the Touch Pro 2 and then use that ESN and make sure to turn off data on the connection manager. Other than that, you would be set. Just don't ever turn on the phone you took the ESN from while the Touch Pro 2 is on. You will get caught pretty fast if that were to happen...

From what I've read first I think this is pretty hard as one of the whole points of the ESN is to make it non-transferable but aside from that, as well I think it is also highly illegal.

Anybody who was intelligent could use this thread as a simple case study and see data on devices our necessary in a ppcgeek community. So if I was big red, sprint, or att I would do the exact samething because a business is their to make money and not their for public relations. It is not stealing as like I been mentioned a million times you have the oppurtunity to go else where. No one is forcing you to stay with them but yet their supposedly stealing from you, does this even make sense. You keep saying what you already posted is your answer, you must realize we all read that and still only one person in this forum agrees with you, obviously you're in the minority here so whatever you think makes you right, no one here agrees with you so as I said earlier maybe you should go post on a bad business practice forum and MAYBE you'll get some support. But obviously I'm not going to change your mind ( I honestly don't care because I'm already getting my way. You and the op are the ones complaining) and you're not going to change anybodies mind in here.

Yes it is illegal, but it has been done. There are tutorials online on how to do it. I've seen it done to take Sprint branded PPC which are more powerful over to the Verizon network back when Verizon used to cripple their devices so.

Not saying its the only option, just saying it is possible.

Actually I read every posts and like I said you are seriously in the minority here, so basically if this was a Democratic situation you would've been lost, so how about you go back and read the posts.

Re: Data Plan Required

No one took me up on my revenue question I posted. Why not?

The principle we're trying to defend is that someone shouldn't have to pay for something they don't want or need.

Let's dumb it down for you in a similar scenario to see if you can comprehend what we're trying to say, OK?

When you see that a new movie comes out and you want to go and see it you make plans to go to your favorite theater. You've gone there for years and you've always been happy with the seats, cleanliness, employees or whatever. You head out one day to see the flick and after you pay for your ticket you walk through the door with your wife or significant other and the usher pulls you aside and says "hey buddy, I can't let you guys through to see the show". You figure WTF...I paid to see the show!!! The usher explains that they just got a new popcorn machine, and a new soda machine and it doesn't appear you have either of these items in your hands. You kindly tell the usher that you don't want any popcorn or soda as you're not hungry or thirsty. You just want to see the show you paid for and that you've been going here for years and didn't have to pay for those items in the past unless you wanted them.

What do you guys do in this situation?

I chose to forfeit seeing the movie at that particular theater even though I was OK with the admission price. I could care less rather or not they got new equipment. Sure, that popcorn may be mighty tasty and that soda better than I ever had but I don't think I should have to purchase it just because they purchased the equipment to make it.

I hope you all can understand what is being discussed here. I'd find it hypocritical based on principle for you to attend the theaters next time without purchasing a tub of popcorn or a drink so that you can support the movie theater, increase their profits and provide them with better infrastructure so that it makes yours and everyone elses movie watching experience that much better
