trying to cook...question about roms (nrg/mrX/mighty)

so in the past few weeks I have tried all three 6.5 roms (mr X, NRG and MIGHTY) (im on VZW) and I have decided to try and cook my own rom... one of these roms (i cant remember which) had the cityid program cooked in so it wasnt a seperate program, but when an incomming call would come in, my screen would change to the slide-to-answer screen, and it would have the number calling AND the location right below it....

I have found 2 different city id cabs (city id 2.1 and cityid 1.something...)

both of these cabs install a seperate program and only show info when the icon is clicked...

anyone know how or what was getting locations on my incomming call screen??
