Re: Any place to get batteries locally?
Has anyone tried the batteries from Batteries+? I have been thinking about checking the one here to see if I can get one for my phone because I am sick of the lack of battery life I get! But I have heard some not too nice stories about using non oem ones dunno if they are true or not so I am kinda leary.

Re: Any place to get batteries locally?
None Oem Batteries are fine as long as you get a name brand one Like Mugen or Seidio, Even though I have had 1 Mugen Battery expand inside of its case it is like it was ready to have a small explosion in my Phone Palm 700wx at the time.
I am kinda new here but what state are you from, cause I have my Oem Touch pro 2 battery for sale. I have a 3500 mah Seidio battery in mine now I ordered the seidio before I got my touch pro 2 so the oem htc batteru never had a charge on it. if you can get a seidio Battery they are more expensive but YOU WILL enjoy the extra Power. but it does add more bulk to our phone at least with the 3500 mah battery. I would post my batteries in the for sale section but Im a newby and dont have enough posts I would sell the oem Htc TP2 Batt. for 25 the shipping which should only be a few dollars. I also have a 3200 mah battery for Palm phones 700's same price. Last edited by Padron26; 02-28-2010 at 03:10 AM. Reason: spelling |

Re: Any place to get batteries locally?
The 3200mah palm battery isn't the bad one that almost exploided lol (mugen) it is a seidio brand battery, but you can have the mugen to if you think you can fix it cause they do cost around 75 each.

Re: Any place to get batteries locally?
Would a battery from a USCC TP2 fit the phone? If so, just about any US Cellular store should stock them. Since they offer free replacement of a dead battery. I have 2 Hong Kong Andida batteries 2000mah I use. Not a name brand, but used the same batteries in my TP and BB from the same seller on ebay. I haven't had a problem in the last 4 years from any batteries he sold me. BTW the batteries I bought was only $9.99 Took a while to get here, so no good in your shoes, but an idea is I always keep spares.

Re: Any place to get batteries locally?
Hi,
You should be able to go to any of the carriers that carry the the TP2 (Verizon, Sprint, T-Mobile--- or AT&T *Tilt2*) and see if they have the battery. USCC carries the phone, too, as it is compatible across the family. Also, if Sprint is carrying the battery for the HTC Snap, that is compatible, too (sometimes the sales associates aren't aware of that). You might also check any of the kiosks at the mall or the phone book for cell stores. Good luck! david |
