No, the Incredible does not have a keyboard.
I was thinking one thing, while reading another and typing that, lol.
I was looking at the Vphone also, which will have a keyboard and runs Android.
But it's not HTC, and looks a little bulky. Made by Saygus.

What are we defining as being a Touch Pro 3? If you're talking about an upgraded version of our phone's form factor, still running WM 6.5.X, I am not expecting it to happen. Despite the talk of continuing WM 6.5.X development for a few more years, I don't think you'll see a lot of new high end phones coming out on the platform for much longer.

If you're talking about a phone that has a keyboard of the quality the TP2 has, but runs Android or even WinPho7, I don't think it's going to be called a TP3.

Why wouldn't it be called a touch pro3? Every carrier tries to make a brand name and use it like Tmobile wing 2 is in no way related to the original, same for the Tilt2..they are just trying to keep a brand, so a TP3 is feasible..but they can do a curve ball and do "Touch Pro X" or something..I don't see the carriers dropping their TP, wing, and tilt names just cause wm6.5 will not be there.

Like stated, if the "TP3" is running WP7, I will NOT be sticking with it. If, however, HTC decides to stick with 6.5.x and keep some form of Sense, I will be all over it. Imagine NRG or MightyROM with a 1GHz processor and twice the RAM...amazing!

I think the sad reality is that WinMo as we know it is dying. Mainstream wants iPhone like phones and Android delivers that as will WinMo 7. Sprint and Verizon are looking to make some coin so they are interested in selling phones that meet the mainstream wants. Think about it..especially with Sprint. The Diamond was EOL over a year ago, yet no replacement. Yes there are still some business users that need these phones, but there are alternatives. The only real demand for these phones are tweakers like us and those of us still on SERO type plans, which Sprint clearly wants to do away with. Sadly we don't make up a large percentage of customers. Just my 2 pennies I guess...

Because the Touch Pro brand has always been associated with Windows Mobile 6 Professional. They certainly can do it if they want, but I wouldn't expect them to transfer the brand to a different platform. And WinPho7 is basically a different platform. My hunch would be that even with WinPho7, they'd brand it differently even if it has a similar form factor to the TP2 (i.e., the keyboard style). And I'd be shocked if they carried the name over to Android. So yes, I do think that they will drop the Touch Pro brand if it's not on the WM 6.5.X platform.

Just my opinion though! Only time will tell what they really do.

Hmmm...I'm in the same boat as kenc3dan, I guess I better post something just to get my post count up and avoid being mocked . Don't get me wrong, I'm not pointing fingers, just posting for a # increase.

In case anyone cares, I haven't needed to post because: 1. I'm a casual user and as such I do not have any insight that is not already posted here that I can share, and
2. I know how to use the search key to find the answers in this wonderful forum to every question I've had thus far, I suspect the same holds true for ken, though that's only a guess. Now back to your regularly scheduled topic, sorry for the thread drift!
