The Touch Pro 2 came to the USA late in the year (T-Mobile's launched in August) but it was launched in Europe in May. It was also shown at MWC last year.

I guess HTC still hasn't announced any Windows Phone 7 devices yet, so it's still possible. To be honest though, if Windows Phone 7 is all they say it is (no multitasking, no 3rd party interfaces like SPB Mobile Shell, can only install apps directly from the app store, no backwards compatibility, etc) then I would rather have a Touch Pro 3 running the latest Android anyway.

ummm... iPhone, by Microsoft?? I don't like the sound of that. I thought we were moving forward. You telling me iPhone was 3-4 years advanced for it's time?? Weaksauce.

How about calling it the HTC "Supersonic".
Or it's newest name, the HTC "Incredible"
It runs Android, but is essentially an HD2 with Android.
Already showing up in Verizon's inventory lists.

I agree, that would totally suck. That's why I am preparing myself for a switch to Android. I am operating under the premise that I will be switching unless Microsoft comes out and says something that makles me want to stay. So far, everything I have read about Windows Phone 7 has made it seem like an iPhone though.

Is this this the same guy (SaltyDawg) who recently staunchly defended Windows Mobile as the platform that has broken records and have sold millions of licenses? Wow things have changed in a hurry.
