sound crackles

The sound out of the speaker on my TP2 used to sound pretty good. Now it has a static/crackle sound to it. I noticed it after I installed afew programs but I restored it to a previous point with SPB Backup and it didn't make a difference. it may just be I didn't notice it until after I installed the programs.

Has anyone had problems with the speaker/sound quality on their TP2? It's the back speaker, it sounds bad when the phone rings and when I play any music.

yes, im experiencing this too...tho it started happening out of the blue, no recently added apps at the time it started...

i really just notice it when im having a conversation...on speaker or off doesnt seem to matter.

i would be interested if others r seeing/hearing this as well.

Are you saying the sound is bad with the speakerphone as well as the earpiece?

I've experienced worse sound quality only when experimenting with custom ROMs, more than likely the drivers from another device that does not have the dual duplex speaker set up as the Rhodiums straight talk.

others handsets have straight talk "lite" etc one speaker instead of dual stereo

well, a hard reset didn't help. the damn speaker must be blown out.....
