Search xda for some benchmarks on the d3d drivers. Qualcomm makes them btw. You would have to ask NFSFan exactly how he ported the drivers, i do not know much about it, but what i do know is they work better than the others.

ill deffinatly be using those drivers.

is that the kitchen i should be using? my goal is speed and proformance over functionality. (with the newest build)

sounds good. Well honestly i think its better to start off by dumping the stock rom and adding your tweaks etc from there, but starting off with caulk's should show you the basics and then you can go from there.
