Alright that's enough from both of you. Keep it on topic and just shut up already. you two fight like an old married couple who have no respect for each other. so start ignoring each other like I've already suggested to both of you in pm's today or I'll solve the problem for you two.

No one wants to see you two bickering every where you go in the forums.

Thank you. It seems almost impossible to have technical discussions on some forums without people becoming abrasive over errors or not doing something correctly.

The cab by saumann (or sammich, depending on his mood)? yeah it doesn't work on energy because the energy dialer doesn't support location based info.

I'm using the saumann and it works. The only problem is that out here in Colorado an area code encompasses a lot of geography. Every time I get a call from area code 970 wich includes towns such as Fort Collins, Greeley and Grand Junction they show up as Aspen. Given my socio-economic level, I don't know too many people there, so it's always a surprise when I answer.

I'm running Sprint Lover's ROM 2.5 which I like a lot.

Re: Official Favorite cabs Thread

well, the location isn't going to be specific to a city/town level, but the goal of the description is to identify the state and and area. like he said, it takes a specific rom to work that supports it.

Msm7kCpuSpeed, Overclock Tool for Touch Pro 2/Rhodium

July 18, 2010 By: orb3000
http://www.xda-developers.com/wp-con.../07/v1_ss2.png

Finally, the free tool that lots of users have been waiting for! XDA member NetRipper has been working on a project for overclocking the Raphael and he successfully increased the clock speed up to 710MHz. Since the Raphael uses the same processor as the Rhodium, the Diamond, and the Topaz, a lot of users will benefit from this great tool.
This well finished UI will let you under or overclock by simply moving the slider.
Be warned, this tool can damage your device so use it at your own risk and please read instructions carefully.

After LeoCpuSpeed to overclock the HD2, I’ve been working on overclocking the MSM7k SoC on the Raphael, with success. The same processor is present on the Diamond, Rhodium and the Topaz, so it should work on all of these devices. I’ve been able to underclock to 57MHz and overclock up to 710MHz, using small 19.2MHz steps. It can clock even further, but it depends on the quality of the processor in your device where the limit for you lies.

Supported devices
  • Raphael
  • Diamond (unconfirmed)
  • Rhodium
  • Topaz (unconfirmed)
  • Blackstone
  • Whitestone
  • More?

You can find more information in the overclocking thread. =D>

AWESOME!!! trying out the overclock now and lemme say for the first time sense with the weather animations looks and feels good normally if the weather animation is on and i slide the screen it stutters now it just blazes along like it doesnt even notice it will see how it does in more extensive running.
BTW im running it off of the battery and so far havent had a problem so im not sure whats the warning about only working on AC power about, still YMMV.

By default WM shows your contacts last name first. You can set a contact to show first name first by editing the 'File as' field of that contact. (Click on 'more' in the edit contact page if you can't find this option).

In effect, the 'file as' field doesn't change the order of last/first name but allows you to file the contact under any (nick)name you like. But if you fill in the first and then the last name of your contacts, it has the same effect as changing the order of names would.

A program called Contact Changer automatically updates the 'file as' field of all of your existing contacts, as you can read in this thread.

You could probably schedule the program to run periodically, using scheduling software like G-alarm.

Just one caveat about the program above. After I ran it I had to go into Outlook and manually fix a dozen of my contacts it screwed up because it ignored the company name that was the original primary reference and used the employee's name instead, which is not how I want the contact listed. No biggie, just something to be aware of if you use it.

Ahh, I see how that can be annoying. Maybe the app has to be redone to treat contacts that include company names uniquely. It was fine for me and did what I wanted it to. I just don't like how the TP2 lists contacts as last name, first name rather than first name last name. It's a matter of preference.

Amazing work bro!!!!!!
So I have been using for awhile now and can tell you its stable @691.2.
I was running @710.4 and would not wake up if it sat for more than 10 min.
For some reason I can not get just 710 but doesnt really matter, amazing differnce in speed. I have not bench marked but can do other special effects, that makes me certain I am running on battery.
I have booted up with phone overclocked @ 710.4 but that was before I saw the note on webpage, might need to hardset so I will not be taking chances.
I also notced that I am to turn down to 604 before removing AC power but never have and Have not had any issues with lock up.
Hope this helps I am running Verizon TP2 Mightyrom FF

I'm assuming you want to encrypt or otherwise password protect a folder. Here's a link to some instructions (haven't tried it myself though).
http://www.wmkits.com/guides/how-to-...ws-mobile.html

If you just want to hide a folder then using TotalCommander you could change the properties of a folder to hidden then in windows explorer it will not show. Not sure it that is all you're looking for.

I use my phone to listen to music a lot, and was looking for a cab that will keep data connections on when the screen is dimmed. I don't want to keep wasting my battery and screen if I don't have to, I could turn off the screen and still listen to music on my old HTC touch. Thanks!

Yes, this adds the Screen off program icon to your programs menu. So after you start your music just hit the screen off app, and when you want to turn the screen back on just hit the power button.

It was only supported for up to flash 8 video, so its pretty useless now that were up to flash 10.1. Some video that may still be encoded with flash 8 may still work, and ads with flash, etc.

Seems like keeping that screen in check is a bitch. It's a battery drain. I use TCPMP now, but I haven't double checked since I just started using it a few days ago to see if it auto turns off the screen while still playing.

Lol! This cab does actually include flashlite but its an actaul flashlight app. it turn your screen to max brightness with a white screen. it also has some other features. like a strobe light, match, diffenernt color lights etc.
but as a flash video player. ya, its totally useless anymore.
