Service in Canada?

Like the title says, I know I'm supposed to be getting service in Canada, (In Vancouver for the games). But I haven't gotten any service from any lines since I landed last night. I'm using Calkulin's rom on my phone if this makes a difference. I'm also on SERO, have the international calling and Canada roaming option on my account. I've tried everything I could to search for a network, but to no avail. Any suggestions here?
