ok. then the edit: verison wireless one linked above wont work as its not 6.5.x. so im back to square one. still not sure where to get the newest version.

I think you're trying to go about this the wrong way. Are you trying to find the latest OEM's that are made for your device? If so, you're not going to get very far as most carriers haven't released the latest version of winmo, certainly not 6.5.x, and some haven't even released 6.5 (such as sprint). All of the packages that come with kitchens and rom dumps come from some device, it just may be another carrier's version of your phone or another phone altogether (such as HD2). No one completely makes a ROM from scratch, they cobble together packages that have already been made by MS, HTC, etc whether it was made for their phone or not. You'll have to specify what your goal is a little better to get more help on this.

Hey, thanks for your help.

My goal is to simply make my own rom. I want to make it with the newest version of windows mobile available 6.5.x. I know others have made it, im just not figureing out where they got it from exactly.

with the rom I plan on only including packages that I use so i can increase the performance as much as possible

what I was expecting to find is oem and ext packages that i would use with a kitchen. if its done another way then im having trouble finding a tutorial on how to do it.

The EXT packages are all of your programs (Opera, Manila, Camera, etc). If you are looking for a Windows base from which to cook, then what you need are the SYS, OEM and ROM folders.

Thats what i seem to not be able to find. iv used the sys, oem and rom folders from indagroves rom, but to really do things right i need to start with sys oem and rom folders that someone hasent already changed thigns in.

but what i dont get is that there has been no released device with 6.5.3 (tho one is gonna be out soon). so these obviously came from a leak. i havent been able to find it tho.

You haven't been able to find the leaks? The link for them is on the 4th post of this very thread. Are you a troll or something?
