i am going out of where uscell has there 3G network will this let me "roam" on verizons with out having data problems?

no. this is a modified verizon prl for people signed up with verizon that get the VOICE ONLY popup.

try different uscc prl's to try to fix your problem.

out of uscells 3G =( oh well sprint seems to work fine

even though you get the voice only pop-up, it still shows your signal strength, right?

Yes still had signal, i recieved a call on one of them.

I tested this out today - It has been I whiles since I was somewhere that had this problem. It worked perfect. You are the man!

I still think there is some DLL that is the root cause, but who cares.

I posted in the other thread, but here is a link for a shortcut to the PRL update. Not rocket science, but helpful in case your ROM chef forgets to add the references.

Based on feedback and demand, I've modified the June PRL 51926. This one keeps the "Verizon Wireless" home ERI so the auto-provisioning with the latest ROMs should work (unless in a roaming area) and I've set the roaming indicator to off as it seems people don't like the blinking triangle. Please let me know how this version works for you!

Would it be possible to get the newest modified Alltel-Hybrid PRL. I live in Louisiana and I am able to use my phone in more places with the hybrid prl than with the VZW one. I guess not all the towers are migrated yet or ever.
