Case for Sprint TP2
Can any one recommend a case for the CDMA version for the TP2?
I went to my local sprint store and they didn't have anything for it. T-mobile did, but the form factor is different. I found a body glove case online, but the reviews are iffy. |

"Can any one recommend a case for the CDMA version for the TP2?" ( the person is asking for a recommendation, meaning, please direct me to one that you know of and liked and want me to get)

Re: Case for Sprint TP2
@rolfeman02, props for trying to defend the OP, but I think what OR78 was getting at was for him to search the forums. There's already been several threads asking for case recommendations. He then answered the OP's question by providing a link to, I assume, the one he uses and recommends...

Re: Case for Sprint TP2
New TP2 owner here also. With all the cases, I don't see anything that protects the actual screen. Does anyone make a case that covers the screen also or am I pretty much going to have to get a regular soft case? I've already got to replace the screen protector on my phone and it's only been on there for 1 day. I had a slip case that I used from my Dell Axim and it flipped up the corner of the film right after I placed it on.

Re: Case for Sprint TP2
Boxwave or Seidio are the way to go (I have both)
My fav is the Seidio Innocase as it is so thin it is like having no case at all & gives a nice rubberized grip. I use Boxwave screen protectors. ~John |
Re: Case for Sprint TP2
No, but definitely trust BoxWave, and will be ordering one this week. One of the one's from ebay lasted 2 weeks and fell off!

I did use search and most of what I found was out of date. I'm also looking for suggestions. |

I was hoping for more personal opinions. I didn't think so many people would get up tight about it on a public forum. |

Thanks for the suggestion. Do you know if they have different colors? My wife and I both have TP2s and it would be nice to be able to tell them apart. So far I can only find blacks for the Seidio but the boxwaves come in 4 flavors. |

Re: Case for Sprint TP2
So $12.99 for the Boxwave screen protectors? Is there any way to get them cheaper? And what is "better": antiglare or cleartouch?
|
Re: Case for Sprint TP2

I think you mean antiglare or crystal since both protectors have clear touch. My guess is that anti glare reduces glare while crystal has an even more transparent protector. I would suggest anti-glare if your out doors alot and crystal if your not. |

I might recommend the crystal screen protector with it. I ordered the anti glare and it seems to affect the touch accuracy but dispersing the pressure. I may swap it for the crystal as I don't think it as as thick. |

My friend has a tmobile TP2, with a body glove case....its fits well...(he paid full retail price at T-MO of 29.99) |

cleartouch is pretty much invisible to see. antiglare decreases the sharpness just a little, but much better visibility in bright light. i have the antiglare. i have ordered through them for all touch screen items and they are all flawless and have less bubbles to smooth out compared to the cheap ones. |

I bought a leather Case Logic case. I went down to Fry's Electronic and picked on up for $15.99 and its really nice so far. I have also heard that people have had luck at WalMart.

The main reason is this: If you have or had the TP1, if you compare the difference in shape and size The TP1 is much easier to hold in your hand and the TP2 is so round and snooth it is an accident waiting to happen. Like a soap bar ready to slip out your hand. So with gel casing, you will hav maximum grip on it as you pull it out of your case or pocket :) |

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows CE; IEMobile 8.12; MSIEMobile6.0) Sprint T7380)
FoneGEAR case from Wal-Mart. Made from Ballistic Nylon with a Velcro closure. For $9.99, it does its job quite well, especially when I spend a good bit of my work day outside my office (rail yards). |
Re: Case for Sprint TP2
Just got the Seidio case in the mail, popped it on easily and it both fits and feels wonderful, the smooth texture is perfect for handling, I'm extremely happy with it.

In my experience BOTH the hard plastic and rubberized(less so) cover/cases did a great job, BUT... Eventually even the best will crack or break or wear off, especially if you have to swap battery or manually press the reset (to flash) by taking the case off... because of stupid HTC design & you didnt drill a hole(!) in it. If that does not happen to you yet while you have it because you have a quality rubberized case, their is a secondary problem... THOSE cases WILL all make scuff marks, at areas were they rub against the case. Also any stuck debree only aids in scratching unit by acting like sand and grinding against surfaces between case & body. So when you finnaly take off the case for cleanin/ reselling, .. It Looks permanently scarred in those areas. Another reason why I chose the gell case was that it has alot of holes in the back. This is good because, If you hold up your back cover from inside you will notice it actually has alot of holes for heat venting. So I would go with either a gell case, or a "full body kit" screen protector, prob from "Best skin ever" because of the rediculously low price for such a total body product :) |

The Brando screen protector is superb. It actaully smooth overs niks and scratches without air pocket bubbles. It even went over a dust particle without any bulge or air. The feel is the best I ever had. Very smooth like glass& silk combined. Also it lasts long & never needed replacing. Only prob with "Brando" is the wait time for shipping was over a week :/ Looky here: http://shop.brando.com/bw-ultraclear...c1050d039.html I also had "best skin ever" and Invivishield". They both feels nice, but have a slight "orange peeel" effect on surface, and they are kinda grippy and ok for smoothness. Out of these two, I liked the much less expensive "Best skin ever" becaues it was less rippled surface effect and had full body kit. http://www.bestskinsever.com/cell-phones.html I always get the "best skin" just for the body kit. Isanely low price.. |
Re: Case for Sprint TP2
for people who like the gel case and dont wanna for it to ship from HK, here's an alternative from boxwave. it does cost bit more though and i dunno if its same exact thing or not but by the looks of it, it is. if anyone decides to order from here and has both, please post back with feedback
