world edition TP2 are they kitchen specific?
Ive been really considering switching to the TP2, however this cant happen untill november for me but i already know that CDMA phones require CDMA kitchens, and the same for GSM phones to Kitchens. However as the title asks, would it matter as far as what kind of kitchen I use if im on Verizon?

Re: world edition TP2 are they kitchen specific?
I believe that the "World Editions" are still technically CDMA phones, just with a GSM "backup" so it can work anywhere in the world (hence the name). So you will still need to use the CDMA ROMs/Kitchens with the Verizon and Sprint TP2s. I think it has something to do with the way the bootloaders differ between the World Editions and the GSM only editions.

Will it ever be possible to use both CDMA service and GSM at the same time?

If your not up until November, I'd be looking for the Touch Pro3 or whatever comes next. The TP2 will have been out for over a year at that point.
Everyone will be making Windows 7 roms by then. |
