Question about using touch pro 2 as internet service for my laptop
 

hey guys got a quick question hopefully some one can help me out ive got an unlimited data plan with my touch pro 2 from sprint and i know i can connect my laptop to it using the built in wi fi router but my question is will i get any extra charges on my bill for doing so? was hoping to watch the daytona 500 on my laptop because ill be on a train all day:protest: thanks

Are you on a custom ROM? If so, most chefs build in stealth internet sharing so you won't get extra charges. You can also use wmwifirouter, but most if not all custom rom's have sharing built in.

there is some good advice re: not getting charged extra. The version of the app included on the stock ROM lets the carriers see what you are doing and allows them the opportunity to make it financially painful for you.

yeah just make sure you have the stealth tethering because if you dont you will get charged a sh** ton lol....someone i knew got caught by sprint and was charged almost $500. so just be carefull :mrgreen:
