How to Remove Ringtones showing up in Sprint Music Tab?

I have 2 ringtones that are oddly showing up in my Sprint Music tab.
It is nice to access the songs from the SM tab.
How do I remove the ringtones from the Sprint Music Tab?

My ringtones are located in:
StorageCard/MyDocuments

My songs are located in:
StorageCard/MyDocuments/MyMusic

cut and paste the ring tones in to your windows folder on the main memory. they will not show up the music tab any more if you then delete them from the storage card.(cut should remove them really, but sometimes i acc. hit copy instead of cut.)

Thanks for the directions.
Should all my ringtones & notification tones be on the device windows directory ie off the storage card?
I ask because, only 2 of the rt's are affecting the SM tab.
The rest are residing on the storage card & all are mp3 format.

i just copied a generic ringtone pack i ripped from the original tp on to my card and every one of them showed up on the music tab. so idk. typically i just copy them to the windows folder so they get grouped with all the other ones.

Just remember if you do cut and not copy. You will have to copy the ringtones back to your card if you plan on doing a Hard Reset anytime soon. But that's if you plan on keeping the same ringtones. If you always delete them and get new ones I wouldn't worry about copying them back to the card then.

Guess I remove all the ringtones from StorageCard & move them over to the device & see where that gets me.

u have to mark the folder containing ringtones as hidden under its properties. the music player ignores hidden folders. do this with total commander or resco file explorer.
