Re: Assurion
If you are a Sprint customer you are allowed up to 3 replacements within a calendar year of your first replacement. The deductible for Smartphone's is $100, and for all other phones it is $50. They will overnight your shipment once they have received your credit card information or they can even have it billed to your Sprint Account if you are in good standing. Loving my TP2 which was replaced VIA Assurion back in October when my TP1 pooped out.

Re: Assurion
Does Asurion send you an envelope to send back your old phone like Sprint? Thanks.

Re: Assurion
Remember, always take your phone in to the store first to see if you can get it covered as a warranty issue. I have Sprint, and the Total Equipment Protection, which is $7/month. That's $84 a year, plus the $100 deductable when you do a claim, but it more than pays for itself if you use just 1/year.
I had the Mogul for roughly a year and the TP1 for roughly a year, too, and have done at least two insurance claims on both of them, if not 3. The TP1 was given to me when I did an insurance claim for the Mogul, so it was like a free upgrade! Well, it wasn't free, because at the time the deductable was $50. But a cheap upgrade to say the least. Then I took my TP1 in a month or two ago because my 2 year old daughter loves books and thought my sliding keyboard opened like a book. After a few times of sneaking the phone away from me (or me giving it to just to be Mr. Nice Guy) she had pried it apart just enough to break the screen connection. Sprint called it a warranty issue and gave me the TP2 for free the next day. |
