Bricked or Not?

My phone is looping (on and off) during the boot sequence. The boot screen (red green yellow) says code error then goes to the update screen. It starts to flash and then shuts off for a couple of minutes and does the same sequence again. I was running Nedidum v4 and activated the lock screen. Every since then I cant boot to this rom nor can I flash the stock sprint rom. Is my phone bricked? If i take it to sprint can they tell I was running a cooked rom? Note: I reported my touch pro lost through assurion to get this tp2. Can I do it again? Helpppppppppppppp!!!!!

Re: Bricked or Not?

that happened to me. the only way to fix it is to go into bootloader and relock then flash to stock and take it to the sprint store. it is bricked but its not your fault

if bootloader is giving you an error then im not sure what you can do sorry

sorry, i think your wrong for assuming its bricked. try look at this thread an the pic in therehttp://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=109482 as the op says he can get to bootloader but it loops, its not like the pic, so i dont think its bricked.

Re: Bricked or Not?

the text on the red blue green white screen is all garbled...but i can make out code error....how can i relock to take back to sprint? Sd card is removed sin is removed....phone is just sitting there (while i watch superbowl) and rbg screen keeps rebooting.

I had a garbled boot loader screen on my TP2 with the words "error code" being the only thing legible and was still able to reflash a ROM...so I'm not sure why yours isn't letting you...

Re: Bricked or Not?

i dont think its garrbled, i think the error code is sitting on other writing so it makes it look that way. if you followed the link i posted above and look at the pic on post 1; if yours does not look like that its not bricked. i dont think you need to take it back to sprint just yet. i dont think you even have to relock it just yet either. make sure the battery is charged. pull out the battery, wait 5 secs, put battery back in DO NOT POWER ON OR PUT IT INTO BOOTLOADER YET. let it charge, wait till after the superbowl be4 you start to mess w/ it so that way it just sits on the charger for couple hrs. then after that put a nbh rom file on the root of sd card to flash sd card method, theres a sticky in the rom section for instructions if you dont know how, then put into bootloader and try agian. or you can just put it in bootloader then plug it in to desktop via usb.

Re: Bricked or Not?

its possible it keeps "looping" cause it doesnt have enough battery power to finish the whole cycle
