Mobile Shell and Tom Tom do not work

Ok i have the Mobile shell 3.5.3 and i run it and love it like anything.Well my son called me and said he tried it with the rom from indgroove and got a 45 sec delay.

I tried it on mobile shell and also got a 45 second delay and i am runing gpsgate the right way i think.

Anyway is there anyone who has a idea why? and if anyone else has had this same thing cause i really like MS

1-2 Sec could be? 45 seconds, no way, I have been running IGO,NDRIVE and I guidance with SPB3.5 without issues and without any GPS pairing tool on stock ROM.

I'd be interested in your comments on NDrive, in terms of its performance on the TP2, and also the installation. It looks like it's going to use the same 2577 folder/autorun as Garmin, and wonder if there's any conflict.

I'm using Garmin MobileXT and it works fine. I'm taking a trip to Greece in May, and am looking for a GPS solution/maps. Garmin has maps, but they're like $100, which is crazy by itself, let alone for a 2-week trip.

NDrive has Greek maps for about $61 which is still steep, but a bit more reasonable.

(Plus, if anybody knows of an open source routable maps for Greece that are compatible with Garmin MobileXT, please let me know.)

Ndrive works flawlessly with TTS where I am at. I have couple 2577 folders in my SD. Once your software is installed(I usually just rename them like 2577 Igo..) they have no impact at all. I can chose to run IGO or Ndrive, no prob.

SPB MS 3.5.3 / Sprint / Touch Pro 2 / Stock Rom / TomTom 7, iGo 8, Google Maps all are not noticeably delayed to me. Maybe a couple seconds. I do not run gpsgate though, it works fine without it for me.

Could it be the custom rom that indygoove has for it? i am running the ROM of MS 3.5.3 are you guys running a ROM or what? as i said could it be his ROM? but then his ROM is a ms ROM just without some of the sprint stuff.

I really do not see why running a ROM vs the stock make a difference.

Why do you need gpsgate?

I just used it when i was on stock rom all i care about now is why i have a 45 sec delay with tom tom on MS 3.5.3 on indygrooves custom rom.
