LogMeIn with Windows Mobile 6.5 fix

3 Attachment(s)
I got logmein to work on my TP2 WM65. I installed PIE

Rebooted the device.

Then installed IE Toggle

Launched IE Toggle and selected Pocket IE and went to logmein

Logged in installed the plug in and it worked.

Sorry if this was posted previously.

Thanks to XDA-Developers and PPCGeeks

Yes the keyboard work if you install KforTouch Pro attached in the first post. Launch it from the Games folder before you connect to you session in logmein. Sorry forgot to include it initially.

what ROM are you running? I'm running NRG's Feb 4, and when trying to install PIE from the cab you posted I get an error: installation unsuccessful, the program or setting cannot be installed because it does not have sufficient system permissions. Did you ever see that before? Know of any other PIE cabs? thanks

I used to use logmein all the time. Its completely unusable on the TP and TP2 though. I am not going to jump through hoops to connect to my home computer. Having to launch Kfortouchpro, toggle IE, launch IE, pull up logmein, sign in, and then 3 minutes after I began I am on my desktop.

What I use now is amazingly simple and awesome. I signed up for dyndns, to give my ip a web address. I enter the web address into the Remote Desktop program that most roms come with, and I never have to worry about what my home IP is. I hit connect and I am on my desktop within 5 seconds, nothing else to run, nothing else to toggle.

I didn't have any issues with my TP2 until I just updated to the factory 6.5 rom on Sprint. The P.I.E. toggle seemed to work fin without having to launch kfortouchpro for me...I just had toggle and it worked just like my old Apache. I'm going to try it tomorrow and I'll let you know how if it works.

How is this software compare to WM6.5 Remote Desktop?

Not sure about KforTouchPro, but utilizing the registry tweaks that (I think) perform the same function breaks the ability of my MightyRom to display mails or texts. Very frustrating.

Anyone know of a work around? Any way to have a self-contained PIE that doesn't mess with the rest of the system?
