Help!!!! Weird syncing problem for re-occurring appointments

I notice a weird problem when I create a re-occurring yearly, all day appointment (like birthdays) on my TP2. It repeats itself properly on the phone, but when I sync to outlook, it shows up in outlook as repeating every 12 years!!! WTF?!! It happens only one way...i.e. when I create an all day re-occurring yearly appointment in outlook and sync, it repeats correctly on my phone. Other repeating patterns like every month seems to work properly as well. Anyone else notice this problem? I've tried using the default calendar application as well as Pocket Informant with same results. I'm running Mighty's lasted 2/1/10 rom...

Thanks for this...Amazing that MS hasn't released a fix for this by now... Then again, maybe not so amazing...
