Understanding how to unlock the RhodiumW

Understanding how to unlock the RhodiumW
I was wondering if someone has some step by step directions on unlocking and reflashing a new cooked ROP by using the BuldOS
I have found several different posts on this but some of them seem to conflict and I am not sure I fully understand why/when you need to upgrade/flash a new radio. I am also a bit confused about the GSM part. I am not sure my phone is even setup to use the GSM card or what I have to do to set that up. No one at sprint explained that part when I got the phone only that it is international enabled. Does that mean with the same number I have hear, do I need a new number? If I unlock and flash a new ROM do I have to do anything special because of the GSM part. I also need to find out about relocking in case I need to take the phone in for a repair. What are the odds Sprint will catch that the phone is unlocked even if I flash back the stock ROM?
I also went do download the Hard-SPL unlocker and got a message about known viruses in this file. Anyone know about that? It is safe or has someone corrupted the file somehow?
Thanks,
Scott Harris
