New Sprint OEM 6.5???

Saw something about a 6.5 rom being released on Feb. 1st on here, any update one that?

Microsoft's website has changed the expected availability from "January/February 2010" to "Date not yet available." Doesn't look like anytime soon.

Just curious - where did you see Feb 1?

Last I saw was "end of Q1". It was always a safe bet that Sprint would be (1) later than whatever date they said, (2) last of the major carriers.

Sprint did make vague noises about "enhanced experienced, blah, blah, ..." which sounded like maybe when they finally released something, that it would 6.5.x. I find that hard to believe, but who knows?

Since I'm already using 6.5.3, Sprint's release date doesn't mean much to me.

I would think it's just $print. 6.5 has been out for a while, it's the carriers who determine when they are going to release their version of the software.

Get a cooked ROM anyway, they seem to be faster and have WAY better community support than the carrier's ROMs.

Every rom out there right now just about has 6.5 already.. it's prolly harder to find one without it, lol.. I am waiting on Windows 7! That's the only thing I am loking forward to, along with the TP3 Sprint will have this yr as well w snapdragon chipset and multi-touch... plus it will be able to updrade to w7 once available. 6.5..hell, I don't even care if they release it at all... go straight to 7!!!
