Help: Hard reset not working

Not sure if it makes any difference but I'm running MM Rom from December and it's a Sprint TP2

I hold the two buttons on the bottom of the phone (phone pointing up and one pointing down) then press the power. It just boots up like normal, doesn't prompt me to hard reset.

What's wrong here?

If you can still boot into windows, try going into settings and pressing the clear data button. Not sure if your key combination is correct or not though.

Try holding the two call buttons, then hold down the power.

Hold em down, don't just push the power button.

You are the man. Did I read it wrong? I thought it said to hold the vol keys but press teh power button.

I've done it a few times so I wen't through the same thing you did.

Interesting. I didn't realize a hard reset with a custom rom doesn't take you back to the stock rom.

That will save me a bunch of time restoring. I really need to read this forum more.

I am having a similar problem, I hold down the two call buttons and the power button and when prompted I push the up volume. But my phone only get to the TOUCH pro2 in the boot up.

Any thoughts?

Found answer on another site but thought I would post here. Holding down the two send + end + power will allow you to push the up volume and reset phone. BUT it you need to load a new ROM on your phone you have to hold the power button and the down volume when turning the phone on. Then you can connect via the USB to pc and load the ROM that will hopefully work.
