MMS message randomly placed in my inbox.

I have this problem that when I get an MMS message, it likes to pop up randomly in my inbox. For instance lets say I am on the SMS screen, I may have A bunch of texts, all the same date, and then I have a buddy who sends me an MMS, and it shows up randomly.

(Joe, Joe, should appear here, but does not)
Dave, Bob
Dave, Bob
Dave, Bob
Joe, Joe (Joe, joe, was received as the newest, but yet appears in this spot, instead of up top)
Dave, Bob
Dave, Bob
Dave, Bob

So basically, I have to scroll down my messages to figure out where the MMS showed up since it is NOT the top one, even if it was the newest.

Stock ROM, Sprint. Any reason it would do that?
