Your right on target, it does do that little spinning thing. Damn, now I need to tag all my stuff.

Download the free version of MediaMonkey.

Use it to "Auto-tag from web".

Piece of cake.

Here's one I found.

I think it's one I've used in the past on my own MP3s. But it's been a while since I've had to do it.

BTW, it's for use on the PC not WinMo.

Yes, it will.

You want to go to the "tools" tab and first clear ALL id3 tags from your music... then aone album at a time, select Auto-tag from web. It'll give you options as to what you want tagged, including the usual, artist, album, song names, years and album art. Really nice for a free program.

I think there's a way to sync your device (TP2) to it too... but I just tag stuff, then drag and drop.

Good luck. Feel free to PM me if you need a hand.

Re: Why does manila take 10 minutes to play music?

See, now thats the kind of people I like, we discussed something and fixed it. I thought this was gonna turn into another iphone, android vs wm thing. As I see it, if nobody ever bothered to question things than there would never be any improvement. If there wasn't Android, MS wouldn't have been threatened and pushed to make WM6.5 and WM7. This is why competition is always good.

Anyways, thanks everyone for your help.

My songs are all tagged & most have album art, but that stupid thing still spins for a while with sense 2.5

Re: Why does manila take 10 minutes to play music?

I have an 16GB micro SDHC Card with 8GB of mp3s and 5 GB of video files from everything to mp4s to xvid. All the music plays fine in Manilla, with all album art showing, and playback by album or the entire library is excellent and smooth. The mp4s in the videos folder play excellent in Manila also.
