don't buy the tp2, it is outdated. wait for a phone that has capacitive screen and more ram. if you upgrade now, you will be disappointed in a couple of months. But you did keep the mogul this long so maybe you won't mind being outdated. Tp2 is the best phone on the market now for sprint in terms of winmo, but so many new phones have already been leaked.

Is there any info on the successor to tp2?

no exact phone as of yet to the successor, but they have leaks of 3.7 inch screens with capacitive display and more ram but correct, nothing has leaked with a keyboard yet.
