Purchasig new Touch Pro 2 - Help PLEASE!

Hi Guys,
Big fan of Mogul and now want to jump to Touch Pro 2 - Please let me know if there is a better PPC.

Need some help/info from you guys:
1. I need a temp loan phone for a period of 3 weeks which will work on sprint. Sprint has declined any help. Any suggestions? Just need it for 3 weeks - basic phone will work
2. I need to purchase HTC touch pro 2 without any contract with sprint. Whats the cheapest option to this effect? - it should work with sprint without much hassles/hacks.

If you are already with Sprint, and you're buying the phone with no contract, expect
full price. They won't give you a dollar back!

Back when I still worked for a Sprint service center, they started swapping Moguls out for Touch Pro's. I just was informed that they are out of the Touch Pro's and they were swapping them out for Touch Pro 2's for a bit. That's how I got my Touch Pro 2 for free =D.

i had the mogul and its one of the best fones and then upgraded to the touch pro the worst fone on the planet but then a while back ago when the TP2 came out they had this program called the WEL program where if u have more than 3 exchanges of the Touoch pro they would exchange it with another model including the palm pre palm pixie blackberry curve and the Touch Pro 2 and i went into the store and cursed at them and stuff and told them i need a fone rite now and they exchanged me to the TP2 free of charge and no extension of a contract and it was done right there and then .....see if u wanna try that

Thanks Guys. I dont have a problem paying full price for the phone. With contract, anyways they are just giving me 75$ off for the upgrade and may be 150$ if I wait out for another 3 months. The reason I dont to extend my contract is because I will need to move out of country after a year. If the contract breaking fee is less than 150$ then its worth to get the phone at a discounted price through contract upgrade.

Now, some of you seem unhappy with tp2? Is it not better than the Mogul? I would hope it would top Mogul by a good margin with the stronger hardware!

My main question was where else (apart from sprint authorized retailers) can I buy a brand new TP2. Will it work with sprint? Amongst Sprint retailers, which ones have good offers on TP2?

You should check ebay. Most prices are around 300 i think. Thats probably the cheapest you could get without extending your contract

TP2 Rocks over the Mogel. Its just most of the complainers are used to their toys and don't know how to handle a real phone.

On a side note, go into a couple of stores, and see if they have any used ones for sale. The local stores in our areas willl sell any phone that has over 25 minutes of use for half price. I guess this way they get at least some of the price of the phone that way. But its alot better than paying FULL price for a phone. I don't think I would spend that much money on a phone, no matter how desperate I was.
