I like the new 6.5 start menu, much more usable.
Also the weather can auto update based on current location. I cannot add the small town that I live to the weather tab when I use 6.1.

Re: Best ROM in terms of Speed & reliability

cfay 1.3 is by far the best and most stable rom. I've used every single rom posted on here and i can say that fay rom is hands down the most stable rom out there..

i havent made the jump to 1.4 simply because 1.3 is good to me and once i find something that does the job i stick with it... sometimes i do not know what certain rom builders try to get out of these phones smh.

THANKS Guys for all wonderful responses.

I will give couple of the ROMS a try n see how it goes...

I want it snappy response time, feather touch (wm6.5 i guess) & stablility.

Re: Best ROM in terms of Speed & reliability

I've tried a few Sense 2.1 & 2.5 roms, I was being impatient since Sprint has yet to release their WM 6.5 update. Honestly for reliability and stability nothing beats the stock rom. There's still odd querks you'll encounter with custom roms, and while I can't speak for everyone. My life is too busy to worry about cab patching and reflashing my phone for every week to fix strange alll the strange little bugs.

Honestly, without some kind of benchmarking software that runs tests on the o.s. and programs, it is all up to personal opinion.

SSK has a GREAT Sprint and Verizon 6.1 kitchen where you can make your own ROM's. Here's the link to it

Re: Best ROM in terms of Speed & reliability

I went back to the Sprint stock ROM yesterday. That’s it; I give up on custom roms and sticking to stock. As fancy and nice some of the custom roms can be, there is always some bug or problem that surfaces after a while that just gets on my nerves. I can always tweak the stock to make it better. From now on, the next rom I will use will be the official Sprint 6.5 rom whenever they release it. No more custom for me.

I would have to go back and look but I believe someone released a rom a week or so ago called Clean Rom??which is supposedly stock rom stable without bloatware....I have also been told Indagroove's Rom is very stable and works everything right out of the box. I will wait til the new Sprint 6.5 comes out as i use Mobile Shell and like its custom looks and easy use .
