Re: I want to use my phone in Canada, what do I do?
i'm pretty sure telus is like verizon and sprint, they do not just accept any cdma phone. With sprint only sprint phones work, Telus is the same way.

2) Are you sure your phone is not able to receive any signal from US-based carriers (i.e., you're not right on the border)? 3) Have you checked to confirm the SIM works in another phone? I recently got back from Mexico, where my TelCel SIM's worked fine in our TP2's. When the phones were in Global Mode they wanted to use the CDMA signal that was available where we were (and would have resulted in large roaming charges on Sprint) but in GSM Mode everything worked as planned. |
