Re: I want to use my phone in Canada, what do I do?
What I would really like to know is this,..
Since I am on Sprint,..they are buying air from someone up here. I tried to ask but the rep said she couldn't say. If it is Telus,..should I be setting my provisioning with mightyrom for Telus? What about the telus radio I see in the upgrade forums? What can have this Sprint TP2 get the most out of the network here in Montreal? I went from Merden to Mighty,..and I noticed that the EV bars are less with Mighty. Cant do the *2 updates up here for sprint for PRL and stuff. Anyone got any ideas,..help me trick this thing |

Yes. If anyone is wondering about the validity of this info, it came directly from the horse's mouth. I heard an interview with Olipro, the fella that developed the unlocker for the TP2 and many other devices. He is a very knowledgeable guy. In the interview he stated that he was able to actually locate and unlock the necessary North Americain bands but the antenna is not capable of receiving them.

OP, your sprint tp2 will not work the way you want it to in canada. Your best bet is to sell it and buy a telus tp2.

Canadian cellphones are not only beyond a scam, they are beyond beyond beyond a scam. There is a reason Canada has the second lowest cellphone penetration rate in the OECD.
