NooB bricked VZ TP2

In my haste to get Pandora internet radio on my Verizon TP2 I used the unlocker for the original TP and now my phone is bricked. Windows XP recognizes it as a Qualcomm something or other, I've tried holding the send and end/power keys at the same time, I don't think there is any hope for this phone is there?

If you can't get to the tri-color bootloader screen, you have a pretty brick in your hands. I guess you could try and return it saying that you attempted to flash the 6.5 update and when it restarted, nothing happened and your phone won't work anymore though.
