Which 6.5.3 ROM works best with SPB Mobile Shell?

So I have been using SPB Mobile Shell on a 6.5 ROM for a while now. I finally broke down and flashed a 6.5.3 ROM, and installed SPB Mobile Shell 3.5.3 on top of it.

It's super buggy and I am about to flash back to a regular 6.5 ROM.

Before I flash back to a regular 6.5 ROM, I thought I would ask if anyone has a good suggestion.

I am on Sprint, so it would have to be a ROM that works well with Sprint.

Any suggestions?

Is your start button on the top or the bottom (and the x to close out of programs too- top or bottom)?

Re: Which 6.5.3 ROM works best with SPB Mobile Shell?

I say none, due to the taskbar/start menu being on the bottom and always overlapping. From the few times I tried it became obnoxious and i'd always fall back to 6.5. If I wasn't such a Mobile Shell fan I would have rocked 6.5.3 since it feels faster then 6.5 and easier to use menu wise.

I had more issues than I can even remember trying to run 6.5.3 with Mobile Shell- but that wasn't one of them.

There was no overlapping on the bottom with indagroove's 6.5.3 Titanium ROM and Mobile Shell 3.5.3. There were all kinds of issues with SMS though (and various other problems).

I don't know if it was a problem with 6.5.3 (as in, no 6.5.3 ROMs work with Mobile Shell) or with the 3.5.3 (as in- maybe 3.5.2 might work, but I don't have that cab anymore), or both.

Re: Which 6.5.3 ROM works best with SPB Mobile Shell?

Maybe due to the new shell version, I was trying these way back a few versions ago. I've since given up hope since I prefer SPB over Sense and Titanium so i'll just stick to 6.5 until the official ROM comes out (then probably still swap roms since i'm a rom junkie at times)...

Yeah I went back to 6.5 also. I was just hoping someone had found a good 6.5.3 ROM to use with it, but I guess not.

Re: Which 6.5.3 ROM works best with SPB Mobile Shell?

spb mobile shell does not officially support 6.5.x versions(since its not official while 6.5 is) but it does officially support regular 6.5, so it could be spb MS not-compatible bugs(on top of 6.5.x bugs)

Re: Which 6.5.3 ROM works best with SPB Mobile Shell?

Since i have tried all the tops roms ( Energy leo & Phoneix , Mighty , and Juicy) there is one that i must say is the best for me. that one would be the SSk rom where you create your own rom from the kitchen. i used to love energy rom but it seems every time i had it it would slowly decrease in functions and migthy every time i flash his my youtube doesnt work with sound problems and juicy seems to be glitch on my phone But the SSK ROm where you pick what you want in your phone is just the best fit for me cause i have all of there other customizations i need and cabs to make it do what it do baby lol so bottom line if you want to get something 100% stable try out SSK rom but the kitchen not the actual rom cause the goal is for you to make your own rom to get the best result from it
