yeah thats because its looking for your device which probably says on your phone "Indiagroove" or something like that.
MAYBE vzw's will come out tomorow? this is why i think
yesterday the sprint fix came out
today the uscc fix came out
tomorrow? the vzw fix came out???

im running stock uscc rom. im to freaked out to flash any thing. had bad juju flashing my old moto q and motorola v323.

I would think the VZW fix will be out asap, it is actually probably done, they probably just haven't posted it yet.

I have Sprint stock rom. Installed the ziggy workaround. Then installed the Sprint hotfix without any hard reset. Everything worked as should be.

One small hiccup about 5 minutes after installing the sprint hotfix, where two particular texts from 1 person repetitively arrived 10-15 times, all were timestamped correctly but kept arriving to me again and again. Only happened for those 2 particular texts out of a couple hundred so far, so not sure if it was inter-related at all.

Hotfix test:
Turned my phone off. Waited two minutes. Had a friend text me. Waited 5 minutes. Turned it back on. Timestamp of the arriving sms was timestamped correctly for sprint (time it hit the sms gateway, while my phone was off) and not the time I turned on the phone.

Also, I mainly lurk at xda, but you guys here are great. Big thanks for all the work on this issue.

The USCC Fix does work for War, and should work for anyone running a ROM with the USCC OEMDrivers. I extracted the rilphone, added a few reg settings and posted it over in the other thread.

dangit i want my vzw fix

. it doesnt really bother me. its like when 6.5 came out for vzw and not for sprint. i mean they all got it. why cant we have it haha.

The same fix should work, it's from a 6.5 tree, try the cab, if it doesn't work, uninstall and soft reset.

You shouldn't need to. I've done this a few times now with cabs, like 10 different times, and haven't hard reset for almost 2 weeks now, none since I've been playing with these rilphone.
