Re: T-Mobile to have 8 in HTC lineup in 2010
It's really nice to see that it pays off for sticking with GSM. And to think that I was afraid of joining up with a German company...

Re: T-Mobile to have 8 in HTC lineup in 2010
GSM is the only way to go overseas, its the more dominant service. The only problem is that the US didn't go that way from the beginning so our gsm services are playing catch up. Once gsm towers are everywhere, gsm will definitely be the way to go.

I honestly don't think it will go that far. Once nationwide LTE rolls out, you're going to eventually see HD voice (already rolling out in the UK on Orange) which is basically phone running on the data connections. Then basic phone tech won't matter.

Unfortunately, I bet that Verizon will be the first to get the HD Voice going. Of course they will certainly overcharge you for it. |

And it really seems like it's becoming moreso every week. Eight additional HTC phones in the lineup this year (keep in mind the HD2 is announced, so it doesn't count), 7.2 rollout, 3G+ rollout, HD2, constantly growing 3G network, etc etc
Feels REALLY good to already be on board. |
